Overnight Oats

Ingredients

The foundation

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup milk of choice

  • 1-2 Tbsp yogurt of choice

  • 1 tsp chia seeds 

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

The good stuff 

(choose your toppings)

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla 

  • 1 tsp jam

  • 1 tsp peanut butter/Nutella

  • ¼ cup strawberries/banana/apple

  • 1 Tbsp nuts (peanuts/hazelnuts/almonds)

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon 

  • 1 Tbsp Choc chips or coconut 

Method

  • Place all ingredients into a medium sized container and mix until combined.

  • Cover the container with a lid. Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight. Toppings can be added the night before or immediately before serving.

  • Enjoy straight from the container the next day!

TIP: My favourite things about overnight oats is that you can make the night before to save any meal prep in the morning, especially on a busy Monday morning!
